Dear Customer,
Gree(n)tings! For the June issue of our regular newsletter, we
have decided to do a special feature on plastic.
Although it has been encouraging to see changes in
attitudes when it comes to waste and recycling, it is
important that we do not become complacent about our
dependency on plastic. Not only is it unsustainable, but
there are also health implications that need to be
considered.
For this special issue on plastic,
The Institute for Zero Waste in Africa have kindly
allowed us to use some of their well-researched and
informative articles. As always, any feedback or
comments from you would be great.
Be part of the
biodegradable movement!

Green Home
Highlights |
|
Between
updating our website and dealing with new stock to meet
the ever-growing demand, it's been a busy month at Green
Home headquarters! As a women business empowerment
company, it was inspiring to be amongst fellow women
(some with their toddlers in tow) packing stock this
past week.
We are
also very pleased to announce that our manufactures have
confirmed that our bagasse products are
GM-free.
Green Home is looking for a
committed, enthusiastic sales agent to be part of the
biodegradable movement. If you're the person for the
job, please email us so that we can set up a
meeting.

the Media

Big UP to
the Indian eatery in Cape Town, Masala Dosa, for
featuring Green Home's biodegradable take-away
containers in their great 'save the earth'
campaign. If any of you watch Hybrid
Living, a great lifestyle program on SABC 3, you would
have seen Green Home products on TV!

We are
delighted that Green Home has been included in the WWF's
directory of products as part of a massive campaign
launching on World Environment Day to encourage
eco-conscious consumerism. Visit WWF's website for more
info on their 'Be the
Hero' campaign.
