Grade 8 Technology Textbook Features GreenHome Packaging

South African Grade 8 learners will study biodegradable food packaging in their Technology textbook.

The book discusses renewable vs. nonrenewable resources. It shows how plant-based materials are renewable resources and can biodegrade into compost which feeds the soil and water.

We are thrilled to know that South African learners will gain knowledge on sustainable packaging. We hope that they will be inspired to think about all the plastics they use in their lives and whether there is a more environmentally friendly alternative.
